What is Dino Roar Valley?
Journey Back in Time. Enter a world of dinosaurs where imagination meets history. Be transported to a prehistoric time when these legendary beasts once roamed. At Dino Roar Valley, you’ll embark on an expedition of discovery - climb into a dinosaur nest; dig for hidden fossils; stand next to a roaring replica of possibly the world’s largest dinosaur ever discover - The Titanosaurus.
What are the ticket prices?
Lake George Expedition Park offers a variety of ticket combinations. See our tickets page for information and prices on daily admission, season passes, VIP tickets, guided tours and workshops.
What is the address for Dino Roar Valley?
Dino Roar Valley is located at Lake George Expedition Park. LGEP is located at 1912 U.S. Route 9, Lake George, New York 12845 at the corner of Route 9 and Bloody Pond Road – just off the Adirondack Northway (Exit 20 or 21).
Are there drinking fountains?
A drinking fountain is located next to the restrooms in the Magic Forest portion of Lake George Expedition Park. Bottled Saratoga Water is available for purchase throughout Lake George Expedition Park.
Do you offer season passes?
Yes, Dino Roar Valley does offers season passes. Be sure to check out our tickets page for information and prices on daily admission, season passes, VIP tickets, guided tours and workshops.
How do I re-enter the park if I have to leave from some reason?
To leave Lake George Expedition Park and re-enter on the same day, please get your hand stamped at the re-entry gate at the main box office. This includes Season Pass holders. Season Passes are only valid to scan once per day. Without the proper hand-stamp, re-entry will not be allowed. Transferring or tampering with hand stamps is a violation of Lake George Expedition Park’s policies and is strictly forbidden.
Does the park ever close because of weather?
Yes, certain rides and attractions, including the dinosaurs of Dino Roar Valley may temporarily close during severe weather. Most gift shops and food stands will remain open. Rides at Magic Forest closed due to weather, will re-open as soon as safe operation allows. Rain checks will be issued upon request if Lake George Expedition Park attractions are closed for more than an hour during the day. Rain checks can be redeemed for a return visit within 5 days of date of issue. Refunds are not offered for inclement weather.

What is Lake George Expedition Park’s alcoholic beverage policy?
No alcoholic beverages may be brought into Lake George Expedition Park or consumed on park property, including the parking lots.
Do you offer first aid services?
Yes, the safety and well-being of our guests is our main priority. If you need medical attention please visit First Aid area located in the Magic Forest portion of Lake George Expedition Park. Security and Safety personnel are on duty to assist guests with special needs. Refrigeration of medication, as well as storage of medical equipment, is available.
Does Lake George Expedition Park have a dress code?
Lake George Expedition Park enforces a dress code in keeping with our family-friendly environment. Proper attire must be worn in the parks at all times, including shirts and appropriate footwear. Clothing or body art with offensive language or graphics are not permitted at any time. Prohibited examples include any profanity, pornography, drugs or drug use, promoting violence or discrimination. For clarification prior to entering the park, please stop by Guest Relations at the main box office.
May I bring my own food and beverages into Lake George Expedition Park?
Outside food, beverages, and coolers are not permitted to be brought into Lake George Expedition Park. We prohibit the use of grills or open flames on park property, including the parking lot. Exceptions are made for guests who have food sensitivities or life-threatening allergies. Lake George Expedition Park cannot guarantee our food is prepared in an allergen free environment. Guests who suffer from food allergies may bring food into the park if they do not feel comfortable with the menu options available. In this case, the food must be limited to the individual with the allergy. One small soft-sided cooler may be brought into the park to carry these items. Baby food is also permitted. Please see Guest Relations or Security to receive approval for carry-in items.
What items are not permitted in the park?
Sharp objects, guns and firearms, tools, explosive materials, flammable materials, disabling chemicals, other dangerous materials. Additional prohibited items include alcoholic beverages, glass items, professional photography cameras, flasks, suitcases, costumes and masks* and pets (Service animals are always welcome. See Guest Code of Conduct for information). *Costumes and masks may be allowed during special events. No outside food or beverage is permitted on the premises.
Is smoking permitted in the park?
Lake George Expedition Park is a smoke and tobacco free environment. Smoking is only allowed in the designated smoking area outside the main box office. Use of vapor products and chewing tobacco are also prohibited inside the park.
What kind of food does the park have?
A variety of food and drink options are available at Lake George Expedition Park - cold beverages, snacks and other grab n’ go items.
Do you rent strollers and wheelchairs?
Yes, Lake George Expedition Park strives to make sure that the park is fun and accessible for everyone. Wheelchairs and ECV’s are available through our stroller rental, located just inside the main gate. Wheelchairs/ECV’s are rented on a first come, first serve basis. To rent these items, a valid driver’s license, state identification, military identification, or major credit card may be required. A rental fee and deposit are also required.

Where can I find information for guests with disabilities?
We welcome guests with special needs and we’re always happy to help make the day a comfortable and memorable one. We strive to provide mainstream access wherever possible, including wheelchair rentals and special access passes. Please stop by Guest Relations or view more information online regarding access, cautions and special requirements.
What happens if I lose something while at the park?
All lost and found items will be brought to Guest Relations. Lake George Expedition Park is not responsible for any lost, stolen or broken items. Items will be retrieved from the park once the park closes and will be kept at Lost and Found for seven days. If you’ve already left the park, please email [email protected] and we will check the lost and found.
Are pets permitted at Dino Roar Valley?
Pets are not allowed on Lake George Expedition Park property. Leaving unattended pets in cars parked in Lake George Expedition Park parking lots is strictly prohibited. Service animals are always welcome.
Do you have any suggestions if our party gets separated?
If your child gets lost or separated from your party, don’t panic. We encourage you and your party to establish a special meeting place when you arrive, just in case your group becomes separated. Lake George Expedition Park does not have a public address system, so please make sure all members of your party have a communication plan. We can leave messages for party members at Guest Relations.
Do you offer free Wi-Fi?
Wi-Fi is available throughout Lake George Expedition Park.

Can I order Dino Roar Valley Tickets with a credit card and give them to another guest as a gift?
Yes, to ensure that you’re placing a gift order, simply select the box labeled “These tickets are a gift” during checkout and enter in the recipient’s information. A gift receipt containing a link to Dino Roar Valley eTickets will be emailed to you, you can forward it to the recipient whenever you like. Your recipient will be able to print the eTickets or access them through their mobile device. It may take up to 24 hours to access your eTickets after receipt. Dino Roar Valley is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets, any loss or inconvenience caused by computer error or unauthorized duplication of Dino Roar Valley eTickets. If duplicated Dino Roar Valley eTickets are presented for admission, Dino Roar Valley may refuse entry.

What is the email newsletter and how do I receive it?

Where can I get a map of the park?
Our park map is available online. In addition, once you arrive at Lake George Expedition Park there are park maps available as soon as you enter the park.

What is the weather like?
The weather varies on a daily basis. For cool mornings and evenings, you may want to bring a jacket or sweatshirt. If you’re not sure if you’ll need an extra layer leave it at home and stop by our store should you get cold. We have a variety of dino-layers – sweatshirts, jackets and long sleeve shirts. Please check the local weather services before your visit.
How do I get information about local hotels and the area around the park?

What security measures do you have in place?
Guest Safety is our number one priority. We have implemented several security procedures upon entrance at the main gate of Lake George Expedition Park. As part of the process:
- All bags, purses, backpacks, waist packs, etc. are subject to examination prior to entering.
- Sharp objects (including pocket knives and metal chains), firearms, or other items that could be considered a weapon are strictly prohibited and should be left at home or secured in your vehicle.
- Please see our separate FAQ on outside food and beverages.
We use a variety of methods in securing our parks including uniformed and plain clothes officers, and video surveillance monitoring.
Lake George Expedition Park does not tolerate guests who fight and/or harass other guests while on our property. People who engage in this behavior are subject to being ejected and potentially banned from the park and may be subject to arrest by local police.
What if I lose my eTickets?
If you have lost your eTickets, please reprint your tickets by following the instructions in your email receipt. If you do not have an email receipt, please go to Guest Relations when you arrive at the park on your date of visit. They will be able to look up your order and print your tickets for you. A replacement fee will apply. Please be sure to bring the credit card used to purchase these tickets, your Photo ID, the email receipt or your order confirmation number.
What should I do if I can’t print my online tickets?
You can have your eTickets printed for you at Guest Relations. You will need the credit card you used to order the tickets, I.D. and your order confirmation number.
What if I made a mistake when ordering items from the site?
Before you make your final purchase, carefully review your selection. We do not offer refunds for any tickets purchased online or at the gate. Tickets are non-transferable.
What is the refund policy for online ticket purchases?
Daily tickets, season passes, and all vouchers purchased online are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please be sure you have selected the correct park, the correct tickets and the correct number of tickets before completing your purchase.
Do tickets have an expiration date?
Tickets are only valid for the operating season in which they were purchased for.

Does Dino Roar Valley offer a discount on admission for groups?
Group pricing is available to groups of 20 or more people, Monday through Sunday (note blackout dates may apply).
Do you sell Gift Certificates?
Yes, you can purchase a Gift Certificate for Lake George Expedition Park online. Gift Certificates are available for Dino Roar Valley, Magic Forest, or a combination of the two. You can purchase gift certificates online by visiting our tickets page.
What is the best admissions value?
Purchasing a season pass allows you to visit Dino Roar Valley as often as you like. Daily tickets are always available, but the season pass is the best value. Season passes are available online or at the main gate box office.
How much is parking?
For convenience, parking is free. We have a large parking lot that our staff will guide you through. The Parking Lot is located right outside the main gate to Lake George Expedition Park.

Acceptable Methods of Payment include Visa, MasterCard, Discover AMEX, cash (U.S. currency only) or certified check or company check. No personal checks or foreign currency will be accepted.
What does my admission ticket include?
Dino Roar Valley admission tickets includes the full park experience: dinosaurs, fossil dig, Dino nest and activity center and the amphitheater stage show.

Do you offer military discounts?
Military personnel and their families can receive a military discount on Lake George Expedition Park attractions. Personnel must present a valid Military ID upon purchase of tickets at the Lake George Expedition Park Box office the day of their visit.
BIRTHDAY PARTIES & SPECIAL EVENTS at Dino Roar Valley
Can we bring party decorations into the park?
Birthday party packages at the Dino Outpost include plates, napkins, cups and cutlery. We welcome additional decorations that can be set up and taken down in 15 minutes or less.
Can I bring my own food?
A personalized dinosaur birthday cake is included in the party packages at the Dino Outpost. If you choose to bring in your own birthday cake, the Dino Outpost has limited refrigerator and freezer space to store cakes. Please let your event planner know so that we may assist you.
Some of my party guests have severe allergies, may I bring my own food/cake?

What is the maximum amount of people I can have at a birthday party?
There is no limit on the number of guests you can bring, however our birthday space has seating for a Maximum of 50 people.
